We’re smashing the myth. We’re making it here. We’re bringing that idea hyem.

Can you be a professional theatre maker, comedian or poet whilst living on the North East coast? Of course you can. We are creating a space that works to inspire the next generation of artists. You won’t have to go down south anymore to see and participate in the best of the best. We’re going to bring the best of the OffWestEnd and fringe scene up North and wow the audiences of Whitley Bay and the North East. We’re not just a receiving house though.

 

We want to kickstart careers and create work that launches artists and propels careers. We want to be the first professional paid job for an actor, a playwright’s first commission, a poet's first book launch. We will create our own streets paved with gold.
